Evolution  This movie is pretty damn funny. You get to here David Duchovny talking about government conspiracies and see Orlando Jones get sucked into a huge alien ass hole. An eBay auction describes Evolution as: In Evolution, a fiery meteor hurdles toward Earth, as fiery meteors are wont to do, and leaves a gaping hole in the Arizona desert. It develops into a kind of underground incubator for alien creatures with predatory dispositions. Not just any aliens; ones that replicate and evolve faster than the Osmond family. Who ya gonna call to stomp out these ever-changing beasties from beyond? Why, naturally, two community-college science profs (ever-underwhelming X-Filer David Duchovny and sidekick-of-the-moment Orlando Jones) and a pool boy (Seann William Scott of American Pie and Dude, Where's My Car) who clearly has sniffed a few too many chlorine fumes. Oh, and director Ivan Reitman, who reconfigures his Ghostbusters framework into a wonderfully hilarious sci-fi comedy. Rated: PG-13 Running Time: 102 MINS Back To The List |
